These disorders are caused by different conditions that affect the inner ear and those parts of the central nervous system involved in maintaining balance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once you have such a disorder, it can easily become a life sentence. Imbalance, dizziness and warped vision could become your new normal. This will affect essential tasks such as shopping, using digital devices and even using any form of transport.<\/p>\n

You may feel the urge to withdraw to just your house, hence increasing the likelihood of depression developing.<\/span><\/p>\n

The real punch is having to wait up to 4 years for a correct diagnosis while taking heavy medication with awful side-effects in the meantime. <\/span><\/p>\n
